Garden Journal     Thursday, June 4, 2009 ~ Spring Whirlwind Here we are, caught up in the whirlwind of spring! It is hard to believe that May is over. It has been a cool spring and June is off to a cool start, as well. Many plants are a week or two behind schedule, including the iris which are just now coming into bloom. No doubt, one of these days summer will arrive. Until then, the pleasant temperatures make gardening work more comfortable. (Read more…)

Who we are...

We are a small specialty garden shop located in Eastern Iowa near the small town of Independence. Spring of 1998 was our first year in business and was a success due to our local customers. We will continue to serve our local customers first and foremost, but will do our best to accommodate mail order customers. The products listed on this page represent just a small fraction of our inventory. We have many other items that can not be shipped or are in too short supply to list here.
