Last week at the American Hosta Society Convention, I (Josh) was awarded the Alex J Summers Distinguished Merit Award in recognition of service to the AHS and/or the development of the genus Hosta. When I look through the list of previous Alex J. Summers Award recipients, I have a hard time seeing myself among such inspiring company. Thank you to my family, friends, the AHS, and my “hosta family” around the world for the amazing support that allows me to do what I love ❤
