Here is a close-up of my first water lily. It was sold to me as a hardy yellow lily, but turned out to be a tropical purple!! This picture was taken in the afternoon after the flowers had closed up. Unfortunately, we were only able to over winter this lily in our basement once, so I no longer have it.
