This one is Aerangis Spiculacot 'Margaret' AM/AOS, named for Wilford's youngest granddaughter. Hillerman made the cross, but the judges on the west coast did not like the grex, so Hillerman never registered the cross. He gave Wilford permission to register it so he could receive the AM, which he received in the NY Judging Center. The judges on the west coast thought the segments were reflexed (this is a primary cross, and both parents are reflexed); in NY the judges were oohing and aahing over the appearance of a flight of birds!
