The crowd has dispersed and our home can be lived in again. Hopefully our sanity will return quickly!! A lot of late nights and hard work went into planning our annual Christmas on the Quasky Diagonal and thanks to everyone who joined us over the weekend, it was a great success.
After 5 years, we are getting the kinks worked out of our “system”. Everything went pretty much according to plan, but there is always that last minute panic. All of our workers even got lunch…which is more than we can say for years past!!
Anyone who wasn’t able to make it out over the weekend can come out between now and Christmas. We’ll be opened Wednesday through Sunday, 9-6. Sue has a lot of things she didn’t have time to finish for the open house that she’ll be working on. Even if you did come to the open house, you’ll probably find some new things!
As you may have noticed, I’m trying out a new feature for the web site…a “Garden Journal”. My plan is to write a new entry once a week about things that are happening at In The Country and in the garden. I’ll try to include pictures when I can to make it a little more interesting. Obviously, going into winter there might be a lack of things to write about, but I’ll try to come up with a weekly entry. Maybe I’ll tempt you with some of the new things we’re working on for spring ![]()
