Hosta Alligator Alley

Product Description

[M] If you like bumps, and puckers, and broad, showy leaf margins, this toothy grinned fellow is right up your alley! This sport of 'Dick Ward' has heart-shaped leaves of superb substance and wide, blue-green margins. Narrow leaf centers start out chartreuse, but brighten to gold with a little sun. Foliage becomes gently cupped with age, and strongly textured like the scales on a gator's back. Hosta 'Alligator Alley' can be a little sluggish, but will form a prehistoric looking clump about 18” tall and 36” across that blooms in early summer with short scapes of near-white flowers.
