Hosta Sea Ebony

[L] 'Sea Ebony', from the legendary Mildred Seaver, has been around for more than 20 years, but has never been easily found in gardens or nurseries. Dark enough to rival Mary Chastain's "black" Lakesides, the deep green leaves are often gently cupped and become moderately puckered with age. Hosta 'Sea Ebony' forms a dramatic specimen about 20" tall and 40" across that will really stand out among the multitude of bright, flashy hostas in your garden. Blooms with contrasting white flowers in early summer.
