[M] Good things come to those who will wait and that is spot-on with this slow, but breath taking sport of 'Blue Mammoth'. 'Andrew' has broad, heavy leaves that are snow-white with a wide blue-green margin. The foliage is twisted, becomes quite puckered with age, and is highlighted by lighter green splashes between the margin and center areas. Young plants often show some green misting in the white center during the heat of summer. Hans Hansen named this plant for his brother. Situated in a location that receives morning sun and lots of water, Hosta 'Andrew' will eventually form and upright mound about 20" tall and 30" across. Striped, pale lavender flowers are cradled in pinkish bracts and barely reach above the foliage in early summer. Be patient with this one and you will be rewarded with a stunning specimen!
