Hosta 'Diamond Lake'

[L] Here is a big, blue hosta from Hans Hansen that can not be mistaken for any other big, blue hosta. 'Diamond Lake' has broad, heart-shaped leaves that are an intense, waxy-blue like the color of a deep, clear lake. The heavy foliage develops strong puckering and a heavily ruffled margin at maturity. A complex hybrid with 'Neptune', 'Niagara Falls', fulda, and rupifraga in its background, giving Hosta 'Diamond Lake' a distinctive look on a large plant up to 17” tall and 45” across.
