Hosta 'Venetian Skies'

[M] A new and not widely distributed sport of 'Venetian Blue' developed by Roy Klehm. Elongated, pointed leaves emerge frosty blue with a narrow, rippled, white margin. The blue fades to green by mid summer, but the variegation remains bright. Thanks to its 'Tardiflora' genetics, the plant looks fresh well into the fall. Hosta 'Venetian Skies' forms a graceful, arching mound about 14" high and 36" across that blooms with fertile, lavender flowers in late summer.
