Hosta Country Dreaming

Product Description

In The Country Exclusive!

'Country Dreaming' is a 2013 registration from Don Dean. Josh and Sue Spece selected this plant with the caveat of a hefty royalty attached, 100% of which will go to the Building a Dream in the Country Fund. This is a community fundraising effort to build a handicap accessible home for the Spece family. Yes, hopefully after their home is built, but we ALL know that getting the roof and walls completed are only a part of what makes a new place a home.

Hosta 'Country Dreaming' is a deep, rich blue with the expected color-holding power a plant needs to make the grade. A medium clump measuring 22" high x 40" diameter and approximately 11" x 8.5" leaves. The picture tells the rest of the story. 'Country Dreaming' is shown center back with June coloration of 'Moondance' to the left, 'Forest Firefly' in front, and 'September Sun' to the right.

No propagation without permission of both Don and Josh applies here for the obvious reason to allow 'Country Dreaming' help make a new home become a reality.

Only very limited OS has been sold to date with the top winning auction bid of $500.

(D. Dean – 2013)
