Tradescantia 'Charlotte's Web'

A gold leafed Spiderwort that doesn't burn in the sun! Tradescantia 'Charlotte's Web' emerges in the spring with a fine red edge around each chartreuse leaf. The more sun the plant gets, the brighter the foliage becomes, but it never burned in the trials conducted in Michigan. Beginning in early summer, the grassy mound of foliage is dotted with three-petaled, soft blue flowers that open in the morning and close in the afternoon. Tradescantia 'Charlotte's Web' is a low maintenance native selection that will put on a brilliant show with little fuss. PPAF CPBRAF
